Hang on! You have a rating of over 1000. You must have won some games. Are you slaughtering random Portugese on the side?

Lls is known as Minnesota fats in the chess world.
Nah!. Fancy a game, I'll probably lose, mind you, and then we can play for money if you like. :|

Default unrated on chess.com appears to be 1200... Although your first game is posted as unrated and a rating is only given at the start of one's second game. As I lost to bish I was demoted down to 1081 which, until the 5 games in progress end, is difficult to say whether I'll go back up or fall down... But I predict at the start of my sixth game I'll be around 1050 which is 150 below default. Furthermore, I'd guess after my twentieth game I'll have hauled my arse up to 1350 or so.
We'll see.

I'm playing a random Brummie. He's a bit obnoxious, but, I've just posted a conditional line 15 moves into the future. I'm pretty damn sure of at least 7 of the moves... that should freak the fecker out...

scratch that, he didn't even move the the first, never mind seven/fifteen predicted moves :| But on the plus side, his one unpredicted move is several orders crapper than his predicted seven moves into the future... :D

Mind you, he still might go for similar, just re-conditionally moved the same line but from a new starting position.

Arrrrrgh, just reviewed my conditional moves and they only project four moves into the future... A red band with the message "Must be Premium to add more to the line..." sits over it. Barstewards.

No idea how conditional lines work. Chess.com has told me I will be subjected to ads unless I pay. Well, I don't mind the odd ad.

Conditional moves is gamesmanship. I don't like and I won't have it.

I'll play gonzo just to spite ya.

I note that Dan won a game in record time. In response to P-Q4, Dan played the unnamed (as far as I know) and never played (as far as I know) P-KR4. This so disturbed his opponent that he never signed on to chess.com again. Dan won on time in one move as black - a record that can only be tied. I must add the Horwich Dan Declined to the list of openings.

Edit: I've just realized the person he defeated was our Jimbo.

It is an odd one Dan. One member from Burnaby BC, whose avatar is the Barcelona FC badge. Of course we could take it over....

There appear to be eight of us (TW members) on chess.com: me, Bish, kinty, Monty, Dan, Jakerbeef, Pru, and Jimbo.
Jimbo seems to be a bit flaky as to commitment, but however, we could still have a tournament.

So I declare the First TW Annual Autumn Chess Cup open.
stage one. All those who want to take part, either check or add your name below...

LLS - Yes
Bish
Prufrock
Monty
Jakerbeef
mrkint
Dan
Jimbo
(anyotherfecker...)

stage two, we'll get a neutral person to draw the matches,
stage three, we get either the same person or somebody else to draw who plays white,
and stage four... hey presto we've got a knock out cup.

Should a match be two games - one as black and one as white? Two wins or a win and a draw and you move on. Seems fairer, given white wins the majority of games.

I favour the 2 games option (play B&W). At least so I'm not booted out of the compo after one game.

Buggeration. I just offered a draw in one of my games then spotted that if I'd pushed my pawn on f5 up to f4 and brought my bishop up to swap off with his bishop I'd probably win. What an impetuous offer on my own behalf...
In fact, a couple of times I was winning and threw it away...must learn to concentrate more.

Anyway, here it is
1.e4 e5
2.Nf3 Nc6
3.Nc3 Nf6
4.Bc4 g6
5.Ng5 d5
6.exd5 Nxd5
7.Nxd5 Qxg5
8.Nxc7+ Kd8
9.O-O Kxc7
10.d3 Qh4
11.Qf3 f5
12.a4 Bd6
13.Qh3 Qxh3
14.gxh3 a6
15.b3 Nd4
16.Kh1 b5
17.Bd5 Rb8
18.f4 Bc5
19.fxe5 Re8
20.Re1 Rb6
21.Be3 Nxc2
22.Bxc5 Nxe1
23.Bxb6+ Kxb6
24.Rxe1 Kc5
25.Bg2 Kd4
26.Bc6 Rxe5
27.Rxe5 Kxe5
28.Kg2 b4
