Tonights show demonstrated what the Beeb do so much better than Sky. The Beeb was about Sturridge and the commentary was how well we were playing. Sky with the impartial Paul WalshGeneral Mannerheim wrote:MOTFD

Tonight, before MOTD, watched American Beauty. Excellent movie. Not watched for years. Not since at the cinema, in fact...
Really lovely writing... like, so very, very good, particularly in the V/O at the end... but at all times before that also...

Saw that last week, thought it hadn't aged well at all - that said I wasn't that keen on it first time around.

This was on FX about a year ago. I stuck with it up to about ep 4 then gave up. Okay, just not my thing.thebish wrote:last night - watched the first episode of Walking Dead...

Re: What are you watching tonight?
just seemed a bit the same as all the other post-apocalyptic things that have been on in recent years - none of which I watched all the way through except the fillum - 28 days later - and that's only cos it was a fillum - not an endless tv series...clapton is god wrote:This was on FX about a year ago. Give over
I expected nothing from it, but enjoyed it - better than some other shite going around at the moment!

I'm hoping when it comes from LF I'll agree with LL more than BWFCi (make sense of that 50s man!). Getting it as good fun romp, expecting nothing more.

Quite liked the Walking Dead, hate American Beauty with a passion, came across (to me) as pretentious rubbish doesn't help that I can't stand Spacey either, always comes across as a smug I'm better than you tosspot. Oh and I guessed the ending.
My dog (proper 57) had his anal glands emptied once and yes the smell is something to behold!!
Re: What are you watching tonight?
watched Toy Story 3 last night (Monday night is family film-night)
I was told it was very sad and lots of men cry. I didn't. struggled to stay awake.....
(some funny moments though)
