You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I've barely slept in two nights because of the heat, Spotto. I didn't expect to be coming home to tell anyone that. Scandinavians are as ill prepared for a hot spell as we are a snow flurry. Still nothing that this bottle of Pinotage and a night in my own bed won't put right. Aye!Lost Leopard Spot wrote:Both shots share a certain similarity Bruce.

Re: the Photo thread
In all, Monty, I managed to blag around 90 minutes to myself yesterday evening to go out for a walk so didn't get chance to actually do anything other than familiarise myself with the place. Next time I go though I'll look up your friend's advice again and plan a little more strategically.Montreal Wanderer wrote:

This is our village church. My first attempt at 'Blue light photography'.

Hope is what keeps us going.
Re: the Photo thread
That my friend is one seriously attractive church. Similar to the church at Freshwater IoW, but during the restoration ( re furbishment)! The good burghers in charge decided to allocate a whole side of the church to a bronze bust of Alfred Tennyson (!?) (He used to worship there but it's not the point).

It's OK, but not like the mill opposite !!
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
