They haven't officially recognised it as a religion though. So you can commit religous hate-crime against a Jedi anytime you feel.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

not just a joke though... there is a Jedi "church" and people who are deadly serious about it... I heard one of their people interviewed yesterday - and he prattled on about mystical self-awareness in the manner of a scientologist...TANGODANCER wrote:Shows we've still got a sense of humour in Britain (I hope).Lord Kangana wrote:In England and Wales 390,127 people (almost 0.8%) stated their religion as Jedi on their 2001 Census forms, surpassing Sikhism, Judaism, and Buddhism, and making it the fourth largest reported religion in the countries

There are allusions to mystical sense awareness in every major religious bible ever. The Freemasons have been practising it for centuries. They'll believe what they will; it's just those face-concealing masks, cloaks and light sabres I object to.thebish wrote:not just a joke though... there is a Jedi "church" and people who are deadly serious about it... Jedi is as credible as any of those other made-up religions. If they want to put it down then what's the problem?

Well I for one can't stand them. Rebel scum. Mincing around, making things float, telling me that these aren't the droids I'm looking for. Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Thanks guys for the concern re my bank/card. I topped up my mobile (o2) with my new card, so had to input the 3 numbers on the back of the card. The fraud guy I spoke to, who wouldn't confirm it was this; but immediatly after I inputted my details, two top ups were made of 30 quid each, not by me, hopefully to a phone which may be traced. (Don't know the chances of this, but probably very slim). After these two top ups, the spending spree started. Can someone get details like that from a phone? I know they can be hacked into, but I thought it was just politicians and movie stars, (and maybe jordan). The bank have been very good and are refunding monies spent, it's just disconcerting to think that there's someone out there pretending to be me............. Boy, they must be handsome.

Cyclists...not all of them just one dick this morning, down the road from me we have a small narrow humped back bridge controlled by lights, lights were green as I approached it so I carried on.....only to meet a bloody cyclist who ignored the red light his side, as it was a humped back bridge you could not see him, how I missed him I have no idea, lucky I was not driving a transit or large 4 x4 as he would be strawberry jam..fecking idiot
My dog (proper 57) had his anal glands emptied once and yes the smell is something to behold!!

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Being stood in middle of Manchester at 3am this morning trying to drag my absolutely leathered girlfriend home after being woken up by a garbled and hysterical phonecall didn't start today off in the best manner.
Me in scruffy old parka and jeans trying to force a girl who could barely stand and dressed in going out clothes to walk with me as taxi drivers and pissed up students looked on suspiciously must have been some sight.
I hope the hangover lasts all day today for her while im in work all day after less than 2 hours' sleep!
