Yeah, why not. Remember the bacon though. It needs the fat.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Jugged hare: had it once, ages ago. Absolutely divine, but these days I'm not in favour of slaughtering all the wildlife just for culinary purposes (poiporses).

Hardly slaughtering it all, chap. Rabbits are abundant and are a fecking nuisance.

Wasn't on about rabbits was I? I was on about hares, I was, which aren't abundant or fecking nuisances.Bruce Rioja wrote:Hardly slaughtering it all, chap. Rabbits are abundant and are a fecking nuisance.
I quite often chow down on rabbit stew; little furry bunnys that I have killed with my own fair hands. I'm not squeamish, I'm not denying a harvest, I just don't think we should slaughter willy nilly everything that moves.

With all the food-phobics in this country going "eeeeuuurrrgghh, Hare" I'm guessing their existence as a species is sound for now.

I've been here since 7:00 this morning and I'm just finishing off now. I've had a ham salad and an apple all day, so I'm getting a chinky on the way home. feck it!

Oh it's ok, Pru. When I walked in and pulled the skin at the sides of my eyes towards my ears they thought it was that funny that all the family came out of the back to see it.Prufrock wrote:Brucie, NO!

By the way. Chaes. Splendid fish and chips, absolutely dreafull and hugely overpriced Chinese. Most of what I bought is now in the bin still swimming in fat. Awful. Decent chicken and sweetcorn soup, mind. A first and a last for me.

There are two Chinese Chippies in Adlington. One can do fish and chips, but the Chinese isn't great; the other is pish for both!

Aye, there's another one a couple of doors down that I just don't like the look of and there's rarely anyone in it.Prufrock wrote:There are two Chinese Chippies in Adlington. One can do fish and chips, but the Chinese isn't great; the other is pish for both!

Tak Ming...i can recommend the chinese food there Bruce, from experience....filllet of steak strips in a bbq sauce nom nommm also recommend the singapore style chow mein (spicy !) - the fish & chips however, not really a patch on Chaes.Bruce Rioja wrote:Aye, there's another one a couple of doors down that I just don't like the look of and there's rarely anyone in it.Prufrock wrote:There are two Chinese Chippies in Adlington. Why can't there be one place that does both just as well...life's not fair !
