You do realise, that they've removed car parking to accommodate this? Expect to see a load of them outside a house near you in the near future! :-)

Wasent Liverpool named European capital city of culture in 2007. They are just looking to go through the sh**holes.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

It never will, why do you think Middlesbrough has never become a city. Salford next is my bet. Followed by Manchester.

Weekly Wednesday update on my U10A girls hockey team which I am sure you are all just dying to hear about. Today I am happy we won 2-1 on a cold and windy trip to Eastbourne (and I got to drive past my old uni again which bought back some memories) :D Less happy about the girl who threw up in the back of the bus due to travel sickness. :|

That was their last match of term so have gone through the season unbeaten. Chuffed! On to netball in January!

Happens. I once blew chunks into a plastic bag on a coach returning to Birmingham from the Manchester Uni Cross Country relays (post beer racing). Unfortunately it turned out to contain home-made food a teammate's spectating Mum had given him to take back. Ooops.

You should train your girls in orange squash drinking contests. Start on halves.

PS. And well done to them. :oyea:

Well there's a nice image LeverEnd! I'm trying not to take it as a personal slight on my minibus driving. It was a beautiful costal route through the seven sisters country park. Unfortunately a very windy road and loads were whinging that they felt queasy. Lucky it was only the one that spewed. Thankfully she was the goalkeeper so not so much running about when she did get there!

Training up the year 8's on Friday for a football tourno next week! Yay! :D

First rain for about 7 or 8 months today. A good few hours of it too. Hoping for more tomorrow. I'm doubly happy as I've been able to turn the AC off today

 You can have some of our wintery weather from Sussex if you'd like more?

Blimming froze today, took the kids to the park this afternoon to meet their friends and remembered their hats, gloves, all in ones and wellies, spent half an hour trying to get them into said wet weather gear and realised as we left the car that I had forgotten my coat. Stood shivering in just a hoody holding the gloves and hats they threw off within 2 minutes of getting there.

More rain this morning. Hoping it doesn't go mad as all hell breaks loose when it does and I have to go out. They shut the schools yesterday and car crashes everywhere - it rained for a few hours

Awkward time of year as we still need a bit of AC on inside (it is back on again), but it feels quite chilly when I go outside (22c first thing). Might have to find some long trousers at this rate :| Don't miss UK winters, but I do miss proper seasons, rain and proper greenery.

Do the locals 'tut' and say "A bit of rain and the whole country comes to a stand still"

Swap rain for snow and we're approaching that time here

Sadly not. They're too busy racing through the flooded areas at 160 kmph and wondering why their Landcruiser is upside down

Anyhow I should probably get to the point by telling everyone I passed my second actual exam(not a mock) unlike half the muppets who hadn't learnt from the first actual exam and finished in 40 mins(its a 2 hour exam) and surprise they failed. In simple the first 6 people that finished failed, the other 7 (myself being one of them) passed because we actually took our time and checked our answers. :pissed: . Its ludicrous to not use at least 3/4 of your time in a n exam even if it means checking your answers a 2nd time.

I'll risk it and wait until someone turns the temperature up a bit. I'm sat here feeling cold, so wouldn't last 5 minutes back home
