The story mode is indeed short but the Arcade mode is the standard 8 rounds.

Picked it up today and am very very ring rust from the last Soul Calibur I had (2 I think on the PS2). Thought to myself go with someone you know, went with Mitsurugi. 10 minutes and getting throuigh fights unscathed.

I'm completely new to the series and I was recommended Mitsirugi as well...barely took a hit for an hour.

Only fight I struggled with was the apprentice, and I gave up because it was cheap bullshit.

Enjoying more after sticking with a character and earning a few new moves, honours, skills etc, makes your attacks a bit more spectacular. still completed story on hard mode in about 30 mins.

However, who has been playing Braid on live arcade???

I bought Braid and it's superb, and like you, lost 4/5 hours over 2 days.

Unfortunately I've completed it, all puzzle pieces etc within 6 hours, so I'm done. At over £10 that's an expensive 5/6 hours.

It is brilliant though.
