The bloke in the black stood behind you is thinking "poor kid I am pleased I am not like that with my kids" the same bloke was seen two minutes later striking a similar pose with his son/daughter.thebish wrote:today I am mostly still happy about my son's graduation!!![]()
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

Re: Today I'm happy about......
At least your son had the decency to wear a proper shirt under his gown. Mine wore some crappy black t-shirt advertising an equally crappy band. I'm afraid he looks a bit silly in his graduation photographs; board and tassel (check), gown and trim in correct colour (check), rebellious ex-student attire (check). Oh yes, and hair down below shoulder blades almost out of view (check). At least my daughter had the sense to wear a demure white blouse. Kids these days, eh?
Congratulations to the junior rev, thebish. Given that I didn't have the chance to attend uni I was ever so proud when my two graduated.![Crying or Very sad ](./images/smilies/icon_cry.gif)

Bruce's new avatar - I do like a bit of nostalgia.
My impression of Asa Hartford was always that he wasn't that happy at being with us. He's the only one not smiling in that photo!

Mr GG has a job interview for a rival company. I think this is a good thing, he has been where he is for ages and is getting annoyed with stuff going on. If he got a new job it would mean probably more pay, hopefully less stress but a tiny bit longer commute. However, his current job he can work flexi time which means he has Friday afternoons off to look after the kids whilst I am at work so if the new job doesn't offer that it will be no good. We shall see...

Was it commentator David Coleman who described Hartford as being a 'whole hearted player' forgetting that he had been diagnosed as having a hole in his heart?Harry Genshaw wrote:Bruce's new avatar - I do like a bit of nostalgia.

The picture (L-R) is of Sam Allardyce, Asa Hartford, Dave Sutton, Derek Scott and David Cross.

Looks fab! Can't wait to go get mine! Fingers crossed it stands 2 toddlers, 2 tree climbing cats and a dog with a very waggy tail.89bwfc89 wrote:My tree arrived, I've gotten bored of putting the baubles on it's that big!
