My tree arrived, I've gotten bored of putting the baubles on it's that big!

Looks fab! Can't wait to go get mine! Fingers crossed it stands 2 toddlers, 2 tree climbing cats and a dog with a very waggy tail.

We're away for most of the Christmas week anyway so the cat will be able to claw the sh*t out of the tree and decorations to its hearts content.

it's kinda the same reasoning behind not eating my birthday cake and opening all my cards and having my family hang happy birthday sheets on the Chudleigh Bypass bridges a month before my birthday...

I echo Bish's sentiments that wanting Christmas to be at Christmas doesn't make you Scrooge. I fecking love Xmas, especially since u moved away, all the more so because it's a very short, special period. Making it last from November till February waters it down and cheapens it. So ner.
