Divine secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood.
I got it because i hadn't really heard anything of Callie Khourie since Thelma and Louise, so I searched for her in LF and came up with this one.
It's pretty dreadful, sentimental old slop...

Put it on Twitter.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Watched The A-Team last night.
It was actually ok, if you try not to compare to the tv series.

yeah its on sky now, i was too sentimental first time i saw it and didnt like it, but i watched it again with a more open mind and thought it was decent, still havent a clue what the story was about. Scott Pilgrim showing too, tremendous!
Re: What are you watching tonight?
I also loved the TV show and really got excited for the movie, which is usually a recipe for disaster and disappointment.
I loved the film as well! As long as you take it what its for, an action film with cheesy lines and not much of a story, you're going to love it.
E.g. the tank falling from the sky, that was a brilliant scene.

Kind of put off the tv-to-film theme after Starsky & Hutch and Dukes of Hazzard, they were garbage.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
I'm a fan of the Godfather films and watched part III again last night. Of particular interest to me because part of the plot is based on real life happenings, such as the mystery surrounding the death of Pope John Paul I after only 33 days reign and the scanadal of the disappearing hundreds of millions from the Vatican banks. That and the murder/suicide of "God's banker" Roberto Calvi who was found hung under Blackfriars Bridge in London in 1982 with hints of Masonic involvement. I remember the uproar this caused at the time. All sorts of theories have surfaced but the truth still isn't resolved and the inquiries go on. Intruiging stuff.

Can't remember who reminded me of War Games on here - but inspired me to get it from LF...
A really good movie, that can't quite make its mind up about the genre, but the central story - is it possible to save the world from nuclear annihilation started accidentally - has real tension and a great dramatic resolution...
Good stuff... Packs a real dramatic punch about 25 years later...

Hated Scott Pilgrim, tried to watch it a few times but after 15mins I realise that I'm not interested at all. Same with Lebowski

A closing down bookstore had 90% off DVDs.
Got some, one is a Steve Coogan Movie.
Baseball isn't on ESPN tonight, so I won't be watching that.
