Is there only me that finds Emmental to be a complete waste of effort on the part of everyone and everything from cow to consumer?
Glad I had a chunk of Camembert left to resume normal service.

Hopefully nothing. I'm done. I'm actually back in work and I've had 4 poo's. Really struggling today.

snap! I'm having a near-fast today - as i am still bloated from the last 2 days' excess!boltonboris wrote:Hopefully nothing. I'm done. I'm actually back in work and I've had 4 poo's. Really struggling today.
Re: What are you eating and drinking tonight?
ok - fast over - bloated again - largely on account of this rather splendid (quorn) chicken, leek and mushroom pie that I made today!
add - roast pots, green beans, yorkshire pudding, sprouts, gravy and cranberry sauce = bloat-tastic!

After having some I had some Toblerone and thought: 'What's this SH*T!!?!?!?'
Sorini Italia Chocolate is the best!

Don't know about food... But a quiet night in (how we want it, and beside my wife has a horrible and enduring cold) will terminate with the opening of a bottle of champagne at around ten seconds after midnight...

Had a few Mojitos with fresh mint and a big plate of ham and salad sandwiches. Son in C.A said they were having Jalapino peppers done in cheese and wrapped in bacon. Never had them but it sounded pretty good.

I'd take issue with that. They don't have bacon over there, just cardboard that they nukeTANGODANCER wrote:Had a few Mojitos with fresh mint and a big plate of ham and salad sandwiches. Been up to the Fishermans Retreat today for a nose bag, not been since the extension - food bang on but it's lost a lot of the atmosphere with that big vacuous room, as nice as it is. Shared the cured meats to start, suet pud for me, burger for her. Creme brûlée for afters.
Got a takeaway from India Gate on NYE, was spot on too - apart from the naans, it was as good as sitting in! And that's on NYE too tbf.

As little as possible, I've turned into a blob in ten days. Salmon salad it is then.
