What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

3 by a considerable distance.

The men had a whip round and got you this. When I say they had a whip round, I mean I had them roundly whipped until they got you this. Its a Cigarillo case engraved with the regimental crest of two crossed dead Frenchmen emblazoned on a mound of dead Frenchman motif.

Amongst others.

Genius. And its not like I've memorised it or anything.

I'll counter that with:

'We've been sitting here since Christmas 1914, during which time millions of men have died, and we've moved no further than an asthmatic ant carrying two bags of heavy shopping.'
They're dirty, they're filthy, they're never gonna last.

Piece of piss.

Like fitting wheels to a tomato. Time consuming and completely pointless.

Went to Market got:
2 CDs Rancis & regurgitator.
House of Bulger, a send up of soap operas; used to be on the Footy Show.
Dave Hughes Stand up DVD.

was a bit depressed, but got cured because I went to Video ezy afterwoods.
They had 50% off Exrentals:
I got for $2.50 each:
George & Mildred Season 1 and a South Korean Movie about old Chinese stuff.

and for $10: Degrassi Junior High Season 1.

Went to see Batman Live last night ahead of the Premiere on Tues

Was amazing - got some comp tickets for the dress rehearsal. Couple of stoppages for minor technical alterations but overall very polished.

Catwoman :poundit:
Batmobile :poundit:

No wonder tickets will be £50 odd though, must have been well expensive to stage

Some photos - excuse the shitty camera - and yes, I could have made them bigger

The Last Airbender.

Personally, I think he should have quit after The Sixth Sense.

It was Raining and had to take a bin out,
checked the mailbox and there was a package. (with no stamp)
Hulk Hogan The Complete Anthology.
It's not that great; got it for $1 plus 5.60 postage.
At least the guy saved a few bucks on postage.

Bloody NCIS was on but I just put on a recently recorded Are you being served

The DVD Series 8 of it that we got, there are two characters on the cover that are not in the episodes.

I almost envy you. You've got several hours of teriffic tv ahead of you if you decide to give it a go. And fwiw the best series is 4 (just) then 3, 2 & 1

Really? Wow. Comedy classic. Historically accurate, satire which still stands up and some very genuinely funny put downs

But to clarify, watch 4, then 2 then 3 then 1

The bloody murder of foul prince Romero and his enormously bosomed wife.

The size of the bosom is perfectly justified artisticly.

Tonight to the Cornerhouse to watch Tree of Life, Terrence Malick's beautifully shot, enigmatic, poetic meditation on solitude, love, loss, families, brotherhood and dying...

Sometimes very slow, it is haunting if you are prepared to stay with it, at least it was for me and partner. Enigmatic to the point of a disagreement between us of which brother Sean Penn (brilliant) is, in later life, representing (she was right!).

Its ambition is extraordinary, including a half hour evocation of the origins of the universe, life on earth and the evolution of humanity, where the camera work is brilliant.

The music is stunning - much composed for the film and a great deal classical - including Berlioz's Requiem Mass (stunningly sung) and Smetana's 'Ma Vlast' (one of my absolute favourites) - and almost every frame has music.

It is moving, puzzling, profound and banal. several major awards alkready, more raves than negatives, but the negatives are scathingly negative. Both sets of critics are right, imho - it is a seriously flawed masterpiece. A 'difficult' and rewarding film. I can forgive the deep flaws for its ambition.

I have never seen Blackadder, there is a dvd of it here; but if I were to try to ever watch it I'd want to watch the series in reverse order.

The $4 Caillou dvds are sold out in all stores, was told there would be more this Thursday and have put my name down.

I just checked online there is a shorter dvd Caillou in space dvd at a store near me, there is heaps but I've got one on hold till the end of the day

I just rechecked online, it says the 2 hour dvd is in stock at Southland  (where I went to today)
I called, Obviously it;s because they are to be in stock on thursday.
I felt bad when speaking to the guy, because when I went in I swore heaps  * at the time I did say to him "not you", after calling all of Kmart C***s; but no one wants to hear swear words at work

Watching the Baseball Boston - Tampa Bay. It's the top of the 10th inning and it;s 0-0

Blackadder is OK

Hasn't aged well for me.

This weekend I watched -

Inception = makes my head hurt, but I like it
Dynamo Magician = same
Knight and Day = worst I've seen in ages
Devil = a close second
