People at work bringing their babies in only for them to scream and scream (the baby)

I like peace and quiet at lunch

I do. Every frigging day.
And I'm angry about it because I forget every now and again; like I did last night and the fcker is dead. Time was when you could go for days without charging. They're not so mobile when you need to be within three foot of a power socket because the things constantly plugged in.

I had this problem when I first got an iPhone. Turns out that there are myriad ways of lengthening your battery life (which will probably be listed online somewhere).

Same here, only have to look at the bastard thing and the battery is flat.

Recently switched from a Sony Ericsson w810i (wap!) which i could charge once and have on the go for a week, mp3s playing the lot...

Got myself a HTC Desire now. Love the phone, but I hate having to charge the damn thing everyday. There's a few tricks here and there, like turning your screen brightness down etc which help though.

I have my son's old Sony Ericsson (no idea of the number which is not on it). I charge it once a week whether it needs it or not. It goes to sleep if not used after a short time and the battery charge seem to last and last.

I found that the data retrieval intervals were doing for mine. I switched it to manual (from the default 15 mins) and it's been a lot better since.

Today I'm right pi**ed off with Mother Nature. One of the best opportunities to view a lunar eclipse and what does Gaia turn up with? Cloud, rain, cloud and more rain. Pah!

Should have happened here between 9-30 and 10-30. Same thing, clouds everywhere. Very disappointing.

I'm surprised they take credit cards these days - always use to be cash up-front when I used to use them...

Blueberries !! Can someone explain blueberries ? The 'Emperors New Clothes' of fruit. A lot of hullaballoo .... with zero taste.

Or is it just me ?
