Today I'm happy about......

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

"when she was 5 she stole a banana from a man on the beach and ate it in one go before we could stop her..."

then turned to me and said - so, Phil, now you know she can fit a whole banana in her mouth...

to this day he has no idea why our younger friends laughed quite as much as they did!! (I have never had the heart to tell him!)

i am sure he has forgotten the whole thing as it has never been directly referred too... but I know I can make the missus cross if i find the opportunity to use the phrase "a whole banana" in a conversation when her dad is present.. he remains blissfully ignorant - she kicks me under the table...
Absolutely brilliant!

Burnden Paddock wrote:Nothing could probably be worse than my best man's speech. It didn't start well and went rapidly downhill from there. He told me pre-wedding that he had forgotten to pick up his speech before leaving the house. I told him to just do a short speech and have done with it. My thinking was that at least the speeches would be short and that nobody would be bored.

When he came to do it, he simply clammed up, so I told him to just read the cards. This wasn't the real low point. Not just yet anyway. He proceeded to read the cards. The real low point was when I had to tell him to read the cards aloud.

I still can't watch the wedding video. Primarily as we no longer have a video recorder, but also because I cringe like feck whenever I think of, or watch this car crash of a 'speech'!

FFS Grunty, for yours and your brothers sake. Please don't feck it up.

I'm going to try my best not to feck it up.....

Today I am happy about getting a good nights sleep last night! Slightly less happy about one of the 3 year olds dropping a box of eggs on the floor just as we were about to go out this morning. :|

There might some good lines here, Grunto.

possibly - i don't know... it does look like a skin of bricks might have been added after the event - thus causing the relocation of the "C"

a quick scan on the internet reveals americans who claim to have studied there and say it did once look like that, but isn't like that now... it's allegedly at Ball State University, Indiana...

Well apart from the C being in the wrong place, obviously  the grouting on the bricks around the C are a different colour and resolution than the other grouting, and the top arch bricks are too small for consistency, plus most obviously of all there is a recess where the windows enter the wall bit the perspective shows a sheer wall - that is physically difficult if not, given the straight lines of the brick layers, impossible.

Well I spent five minutes on paint and retroengineered it and it looks much more convincing, so I'm of the opinion it is defo a fake. Unfortunately they've done something horrible to Image Shack and therefore I cannot share with you the fruits of my tiny labours...

wahay! (cheers Worthy)
As you can see that's much better, and I only spent 5 minutes on paint. I've made a mistake by bringing the eRSJ so far over, it should have a small step down as the windows overlap the rsj by an inch or two, but apart from that, that will be pretty much what the original photo showed I'd suggest...
