Id prefer it if they fúcked all this legend shít off and concentratd on the gameplay again. The last pro evo was a major dissapointment, they need to forget about it and do a major improvemnt on 06.

That's because they were stupid enough to choose Wigan to front the trailer.

That being said, I thought the graphics were superbly accurate.

woop, only a week til we get the demo!
Mole has informed me that the latest edition of the game includes a separate fully licensed Champions League mode including Arsenal, Chelsea, United & Liverpool. He has not confirmed whether or not the licensed teams can be used outside of this mode, but neither has he said they can't.

Unfortunately on a less bright note, it would appear a lot of clubs aren't fully licensed, particularly in the Spanish league. Atletico Madrid being the one mentioned along with a few others that you would normally expect to be.

The demo will be on marketplace on the 11th September, same day as FIFA 09

Speaking to Konami this morning it seems not all the above information is entirely true.

A release date for the demo still hasn't been confirmed but it is likely to be released onto Marketplace and PSN 3 weeks before the game hits the stores. Regarding the 'build' version, it will probably be the same as the Leipzig demo which received a negative reception on the forums despite players at the PES Rankings finale seemingly happy with it.

The demo should feature several licensed club and international teams, different to the teams on offer at Leipzig , which you can use in a 5 minute exhibition match with up to 4 players on the 360 and PC, with 7 players possible on the PS3.

finally, some big news- PES 2009 demo hits the marketplace September 11th, same date as Fifa! No confirmation of PSN though, I’ll be in touch with them to find out.

Are you on drugs?

The fifa 09 demo is BRILLIANT!

I never had you down as a blinkered PES fanboy Batty!

give over, it's terrible!

so slow, ball is like a balloon, flying all over the place with bizarre physics

players look nothing like who they are meant to, typical fifa really.

i prefer gameplay over graphics

pes has the more realistic footy experience

fifa is all pretty pretty but the gameplay is just shite

Realistic? PES was realistic yeah, but the last two iterations of the game have just played way too fast in my opinion.

Also tend to think that PES looks just plain ugly most of the time.

Ive always had the opinion, if someone prefers FIFA, then its because Pro is to hard for them.

...and what if someone likes both but feels the PES series has gone stale and failed to do anything good in the last 2 years, whereas FIFA has improved over and over again, innovating and adding new features that make it truly next gen?

Saying "You prefer FIFA = you are crap at PES" is just ridiculous.

I play games a lot, I think I'm pretty good at them but are you saying if you don't breeze through a game and find it hard at times you can't enjoy them?

Personally found some of the difficulty levels of PES stupid, some way to easy, some way to hard.

The reason there are "difficulties" in a game is to make it enjoyable for all users, not just elitist dickheads!
