Perhaps the mods should move these recent additions to that other thread 'General's Shit Chat'.

The Mods have learned from extensive experience that it's better to let sleeping bogs die.

is that some kind of euphemism for taking a dump?
Why would he do that at his keyboard?

So mostly it is raining cats and dogs, but the *thud* ooof is the odd cow that got caught up in it?

Actually, and I thought of this seconds (but long seconds) after I'd posted - it should have read "That's it. that's the noise it makes. That plus *thud* oof... ow.. oof... oof... ow... ow... oof... as the rain bounces off my conservatory" [You will see what I did there and it has nothing to do with cows]

Is this the weather thread?
The sun's out and a nice blue sky over Warrington this morning. By Christ, it's cold though.

Ah, Warrington. Lived there for 2 years. I think it rained for 1 year, 11 months, 3 weeks of it.

Our garden had marsh grass as a weed.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Some mistake has been made. If you look closely you will note it is a chemical fug. Some of it is industrial crap from the Port Sunlight soap factories, some is the chemical effluent from Widnes, part of it is made up from the soda and suphur belching out from the military-industrial glass complex of St Helens, but the illusion of blue in the sky is made from the colouring reagent from the blue smartie factory in Knotty Ash.

Are those four monster fog makers still working Hoss? On a clear day you can see them from Plodder Lane (not that we've had too many clear days lately mind).
