feck it. Cottaging at Worsley Woods with BP and LE it is then. I'm hoping for a Cleveland Steamer at the very least.

Well done Bruce & Co. How does Worsley compare with Bolton? Quicker or slower course? Decent sausages?Bruce Rioja wrote:Cottaging, Parkrun and sausage butty all done.Worthy4England wrote:I reckon you've got every chance.Bruce Rioja wrote:feck it. I've got a fell race over Rochdale way this afternoon. Its been one of my favourite races in the past but I've just heard the course may have been altered due to a new wind farm being built there. Standby for cheaper electricity because I've a feeling I'll be blowing out of my arse at about 2.30!

Good luck. Happy with my 10 miles in 1hr 21 today. Could have pushed it and felt strong. Training is paying off.Harry Genshaw wrote:Well done Bruce & Co. How does Worsley compare with Bolton? Re: The athletics/running thread
Nice one GtE, hope your arse-blowing isn't too explosive HG. Course starts and finishes on a smooth tarmac path along the old railway with a loop round the woods in the middle. Very muddy today but quicker than Bolton.
We all escaped from Worsley Woods with our anal cherries intact thanks Worthy.

Good time that G for a training session. Nice one
LE - there's no way yours is still intact after your toilet shenanigans with Lennon!
Fell race was great fun and got a pb, which I thought had long since passed. Absolutely exhausted now though

Re: The athletics/running thread
Cheers Harry. The course is a piece of piss. It's basically a flat out-and-back with some shite to run through at the top end. Glad to get my 'return run' in but a bit annoyed with myself now for having done it in the time that I usually do Bolton in. Still, it's under the belt now.Harry Genshaw wrote:

No brew/water or biscuits/cake at the end though, so points deducted for that!

Hmmmm, legs are a bit stiff today with lactic acid build up. Is it wise to go for a run later or should I wait another day?

Aye, think I might utilise my flat course. However, that means that I have to run past the house where they seem to have steak and onions for dinner every night three times!Harry Genshaw wrote:Personally, I'd say go for it.
