Excellent - glad you agree. My horse racing knowledge isn't very good I do admit, but I have been looking at the racing post for a while and think this horse looks like it is the class horse in the field.

Bugger, it came 2nd, caught in the last 100 yards. I hate it when that happens.

I have £2 on Robinho to score first against Zaragoza at 15/2, he has been in good form of late. Hope he is playing lol

Matterofact at the 8:25 at Lingfield looks a good bet. Its in good form, and the other horses don't seem to really threaten it. Fingers crossed.

All my winnings are going on Linda Green at the 9:05 at Newbury - odds of 11/1 - it is racing at class 5, it beat Matterofact last time out who just won a class 5 tonight easily.

Come on.

I am still nicely in profit. All my winnings on each way on Linda Green at the last at Newbury. Wish me luck, its 11/1.

I don't have much confidence now in Linda green, the odds have gone from 11/1 to 16s, and some horses are coming down in price. Oh well, I didn't lose anything!

ALLESANDRO - 9.00 Leopardstown @ 2/1

Allesandro ran at the Curragh last week when chasing home impressive winner Imperial Rose, beaten just under a length on similar ground to that he'll encounter tonight. There was 8 lengths back to the 3rd horse. He ran that day off a mark of 53. He runs today off a mark of 54. 1lb higher. But he's due to go up 16lb from tomorrow!

16lb well in according to the handicapper, and if he can't win tonight then he'll never win again.

Beaten by a head. Ah well, wasn't on that for any real dough so that's fine. Managed to find myself a nice 11/4 winner today, anyway - this one was punted in to evens, so no great value in the SP.
