You'll be pleased to know that it doesn't count as dog chocolate contains no real chocolate. Its just fat and colouring.Bruce Rioja wrote:No they're not, but I was a curious child!enfieldwhite wrote:niiiiice!Bruce Rioja wrote:Good Boy dog chocolates by any chance?Rated R Superstar wrote:Before anyone asks, yes I have tried pet chocolate once..............no, I don't know why
And if anyone on here suggests Lion-Bar from when they were kids that doesn't count either, as it didn't contain a trace of real chocolate until recently (no word of a lie)

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

Me and my mate nicked an entire outer of Lion Bars after the Smith's Grammar tuck-shop had had a delivery just as we'd finished detention, and we hid them in Bluebell Woods. Every evening after school we'd have one on the walk home. We eventually both became ill.Lord Kangana wrote: And if anyone on here suggests Lion-Bar from when they were kids that doesn't count either, as it didn't contain a trace of real chocolate until recently (no word of a lie)

My mums-mates-boyfriend (are you keeping up with this?) used to work on a production line years ago producing what he claims was dog chocolates and Lion bars. I dismissed this claim for years, but seeing as I have access to food related stuff, I did my own research. Turns out for a time what he said was entirely true.Bruce Rioja wrote:Me and my mate nicked an entire outer of Lion Bars after the Smith's Grammar tuck-shop had had a delivery just as we'd finished detention, and we hid them in Bluebell Woods. And another worrying one (if anyone eats the stuff) is that there is technically no such thing as "organic chocolate". The world is just ram-jammed with snake oil salesmen it would appear.

It is. The odd small square won't do it any harm, but if your pooch nicks and devours a large block of chocolate, it'll be in deep trouble. And not just from you.enfieldwhite wrote:Don't know where I read it, but I thought chocolate was poisonous for dogs.Bruce Rioja wrote:No they're not, but I was a curious child!enfieldwhite wrote:niiiiice!Bruce Rioja wrote:Good Boy dog chocolates by any chance?Rated R Superstar wrote:Before anyone asks, yes I have tried pet chocolate once..............no, I don't know why

Can't say I'd be too surprised. I once met someone who claimed he was a cocoa fumigator. (I know, you wouldn't want that as your job title, would you?) Anyway, you'd be horrified at the stuff he said he had to spray over the beans to kill off the various infestations.Lord Kangana wrote: And another worrying one (if anyone eats the stuff) is that there is technically no such thing as "organic chocolate". English chocolate contains so little real chocolate you'd have to let it loose in Tescos for it to have any affect on it though (If it got hold of the 85% dark stuff mind...warthog wrote:It is. Didn't the Belgians appeal to the European Courts in a bid to ban us from calling our stuff Chocolate?BWFC_Insane wrote:Aye "English" Chocolate like Cadburys doesn't have a high (or any) cocoa content, so its not really chocolate. But it does still kill dogs, as its not the cocoa that kills em as I understand it!
