Re: Today I'm happy about......
I'll be spending this weekend in Erbistock which also falls within the borough of Wrexham and is somewhere else you've neither visited nor heard of. It's an absolutely stunning part of the world, thus adding weight to the fact that you make a complete and utter prick of yourself every time you put forth your opinion of a place. Why do you do it? I don't know. It must be an attention thing.bwfcdan94 wrote:No I have been to Wrexham though and have already upset Bobo previously with my opinions of the place.

No I haven't been to Erbistock. I was referring to the town of Wrexham not its surrounding area. I have said Redcar is a dump before, dosent mean im not going to acknowledge that Staithes is a nice place.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

I can only assume you've spent huge amounts of your life in the back of a car being driven from toen to town.
Wrexham. like many places, has it's good & it's bad. It suffers for not being Chester, yet being only 8 miles away. The town is fairly described as "ordinary" but tries hard. It's a nicer place to visit thatn Bolton these days.
The surrounding area is stunning. Sort of Welsh Cheshire. Give it a try. As Bruce says large parts of it are astonishingly beautiful.
Seriously Dan, your attention seeking is almost an illness. Give it a rest & just try shutting the fck up now and again. Your views are usually bollox and ill-informed.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

The only part of Wrexham I've seen is the industrial park unfortunately.bobo the clown wrote:I can only assume you've spent huge amounts of your life in the back of a car being driven from toen to town.

Which, as far as Industrial Parks go is perfectly OK.Beefheart wrote:The only part of Wrexham I've seen is the industrial park unfortunately.bobo the clown wrote:I can only assume you've spent huge amounts of your life in the back of a car being driven from toen to town.

You take a look at the countryside next time you drive down that dual carriageway .... or better still, take the A-road past the Duke of Westminster's pad, through Pulford, Rossett & Marford. & have someone direct you to the Pant-yr-Ochain for a nice bite afterwards.

This is a trivial argument, I don't see the point in explaining my opinion.Bruce Rioja wrote:Exactly, you prick! It forms part of the town of Wrexham.bwfcdan94 wrote:No I haven't been to Erbistock. I was referring to the town of Wrexham

To think I would get more career advice in 24 hours on a football forum then in my whole life so far.

Apparently, I need to go out supping in Manchester this afternoon. I'm generally about as keen on Manchester as London, but the sun's out so I'll do my best to enjoy it.
Re: Today I'm happy about......
I'm happy that I keep thinking it's Saturday, then realising it's only Friday. Also, enjoying my favourite sunny weather drink of campari and orange juice (at a ratio of 50/50) with lots of ice.

My eldest daughter, who is doing post grad teacher training and loving it, had an interview this morning. and got the job - teaching English in a secondary school in Royton, about 15 mins drive from her house. She's thrilled. so am I.

^ Excellent news! And on the same theme, the girl we now look after went for an interview for an apprenticeship in child minding yesterday. She got a call this morning and has got the job! She is such a breath of fresh air in the house and fantastic to have around.

simple things...
side path - green slimy road to hell - stinking of stale dog-wee and moss-covered...
now - thanks to 3/4 hr with karcher power washer with floor-scrub attachment - as clean and fresh as the day it was laid! just off to get some Jeyes fluid to give it that proper side-path smell!! that's what spring is about!

It's absolutely amazing. No effort required other than diluting it in a bucket, than brushing on a small quantity across the path. No scrubbing, jet washing or anything. The algae just disappears!
Not sure it'd get rid of the moss though.
Hope is what keeps us going.
