Agreed 100%. You can add the whole 'not bowing at the centotaph' to that aswell.

Write a hand-written letter and he's "insulting" dead servicemen, send off a spell checked word document and he's a faceless, emotionless nice person. He can't win.

And recording his call when he rings to apologise? Mind-boggling the depths papers will go to.

If anything I imagine this whole episode will probably do more to make Brown more popular than anything. Christ he's only trying his best.

It's depressing how close to the mark that is.
Is it really though? It's become fashionable to say that, but what does it actually mean. Does anyone suppose Murdoch has anything to do with even 1% of his media output?

Don't worry Mummy, he's already decided that Cameron should be our next PM, so you can sleep safe.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I suppose anyone remotely interested in retaining some semblence of democracy designed to serve the majority of the population. I've already ascertained from your previous posts that that would be you not giving a shit. As it happens, I do. Fairly simple.

I just think that whoever the Page 3 comic comes out for is fairly inconsequential in the scheme of things, and that they are opinion followers, not shapers.

And yes, I am in favour of the current Labour Government being replaced by a Conservative one, and will be pleased if it comes to pass.

If you don't like it, you can always bugger off to the house in France that you 'have the privilege of owning', you yawning great hypocritical bore.

No, I just refuse believe that even you really think we're all just milling around doing Murdoch's bidding, and I'm genuinely delighted that British life has been so good to you, heretofore, that you have an alternative if it all gets too much for you. :D
