Looks decent this year, will make my decision if and when they decide to bring the demo out.

i'll get both

but i'll be mainly on Pro

Fifa is alright, better tha it used to be, but it's not a patch on Pro. It's still poor

As much as it looks good, I know I'll spend more time of Fifa.

I know it's whore-ish but I like the players having the proper names, proper shirts etc. Realism in PES is great but I feel it takes away from the experience on the whole never hearing "Throw in to Bolton" or seeing the real shirts etc on the screen.

I always felt in that manner that PES almost looked like a dodgy bootleg, but always played so well.

As I say, I know its a bit "whore-ish" but it's nothing to do with the graphics, just the licenses. I also found PES last year very very clunky in the menus etc, and FIFA has improved that beyond belief.

Also, having played the be a pro mode in EURO2008, I can't wait to start "my" career as a Bolton player in FIFA 09.

Will probably get both though.

i agree to a point

but i don't even think FIFA is that good in terms of the player names etc and shirts

never looks 'right' to me

and with Pro 09 you can share files off the internet (ie modded kits etc) through a memory stick so should allow alot more scope for accuracy in things like kits

having said that, I always preferred good gameplay to fancy graphics and despite the faults of pro 08 it's still a good, enjoyable game

pro 09 looks to be a GREAT game

But not on 360 mate, at least not easily.

PS3/PC/PSP are easy to do but it's quite hard to find a good option file for the Prem clubs as most good PES websites won't allow them to be posted.

i mean it's for pro 09 - the new one

you can download files and copy them onto your 360

How? There's no way to connect a 360 to a PC yet, or at least as I say, not easily.

Where did you read that? Because it won't work.

MS do not allow you to transfer things via memory stick Batty. It's a closed system and always has been, the only way to update things on the 360 is via LIVE downloads.

That's not the same, you can play music, video and pictures from a memory stick (much like you can from a burnt disc or streamed from a PC) but you cannot update a game with option files etc.

Basically you cannot fiddle with games like this on a 360, nor can you download game saves (well you can actually but it gets your gamerscore deleted and a tag of "Im a cheater" on your mottor forever).

"Leave a bloody trail of dismembered foes as you master an involving and addictive combat style with destructive mythical powers and abilities. Explore vast and visually stunning open-world environments whilst slaying your enemies with a huge array of devastating and brutal combat moves."

Doesn't sound like dialogue is the main aim of the game General :-) How many beers?
