They're not poached eggs, that's for sure.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

Poaching is the process of gently simmering food in liquid and not in a piece of plastic.Harry Genshaw wrote:What the blue blazes are coddled eggs?![]()

Cookies, fooking cookies. Always think they were designed by fat Americans too impatient to wait for the things to actually cook.Lord Kangana wrote:They look like they're cooked properly too.

Fecking horrible that half cooked chewy texture.
Give me a properly baked crisp shortbread biscuit anyday.
Re: What are you eating and drinking tonight?
With you there mate sadly people of my generation think that doughie sh*te is what a normal biscuit tastes like and then say something like its a bit hard when tucking in to a shortbread.BWFC_Insane wrote:Cookies, fooking cookies. You're just trying to kill LK, raise his blood pressure, give him a heart attack or something.
That's not a leopard!

Its ok, I know that they fill them up at the urinals over there for anyone with the cheek to say "I think I'll have a bottle of that there cider to accompany this veritable banquet fit for the very King with which you have presented me". It helps me sleep at night.

Next thing you know he'll be drinking Magner's Traditional Irish Mango, Passionfruit and Guava with a twist of Loganberry "Zider". Mark my words.

You are correct ... I was so overcome by the choice of a proper, apple-based, alcoholic beverage that I missed the ice reference.Lord Kangana wrote:The ice man! The ice! Did you not notice the f*cking ice?!?!
Mea Culpa.

Re: What are you eating and drinking tonight?
In a grand departure from the norm I made a mushroom risotto last night.
Arborio rice, dried porcini mushrooms, chestnut mushrooms, garlic, bit of white wine, some veggie stock, bit of butter and then some chopped parlsey.
Beautiful! And had enough leftover for lunch today and tomorrow.![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Re: What are you eating and drinking tonight?
Now .... just for LK .... today I saw, in Sainsburys, by Bulmers... a cider (what else) with pressed red grape !!!!!!!
So, an apple based alcohol with pressed red grape in the mix. Tricky. I mean, if you were to make an alcoholic drink using pressed grape can you think of any other ways to go with that one ??
