Re: Today I'm angry about.....
It's about time we started outing companies on here for atrocious customer service. Lookers Burnley are the biggest shower of wankers that I've ever had the misfortune to deal with - and bear in mind that they're up against NPower and Orange for that particular accolade.
Because they keep feck all in stock (including wiper blades - I shite you not) my car is currently in it's second day there. They've just been on. Firstly, they addressed me once again as Mr (company's name) and then asked me if their service had been to my satisfaction. "Err, Love, you've still got the fecking thing, your time will be better spent finding out when it'll be ready". I've heard nowt

I used to know a Methodist minister who lived (as many methodist ministers seem to do) in a house called "Wesley Manse".
he lost count of the amount of junk mail he got which started "Dear Mr Manse"...

I wouldn't mind quite so much, Bish, if it wasn't the very same air-headed bint that I had to correct on the very self, same issue yesterday.thebish wrote:Bruce Rioja wrote: Firstly, they addressed me once again as Mr (company's name)

Tell her to get her own bloody tickets. And you're fixing your football boots that night, so she'll have to go with a mate.P.O.S. wrote:1. Steps have reformed

WTF is a "+fees"?
I'm sick and tired of companies doing that. If they want to charge you a price, it should just bloody say so.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
I know, who knows what these fees could come to, basically looking at £40 a ticket here.
Don't worry Ill be nowhere near the concert, she can go with her mate... but does that mean I have to buy 2 tickets so she can go with someone and enjoy it more? I dont like what this is coming to!

Tickets for Th'Octagon last week included a £3 'convenience charge' for me booking over the interweb - ergo - their convenience of me not bothering their staff. The one that's really fecked me off, and as I mentioned on here at the time, Manchester Apollo charging me something in the order of £7 for me to be able to print my own tickets off, on my paper, using my inkLord Kangana wrote:WTF is a "+fees"?

Without trying to dig too far into family finances, tell her to buy her own bloody tickets.P.O.S. wrote:I know, who knows what these fees could come to, basically looking at £40 a ticket here.

Look, if you want to start a thread celebrating your joy at Steps reforming go for it. You don't have to go into the elaborate charade of pretending to be angry about ticket prices just to shoehorn it in.P.O.S. wrote:1. Steps have reformed

Ah youre right, I have indeed been glued to the 4 part (!) documentary about the truth behind their break up and them getting back together again.
I think she's angling towards this being her christmas present, but I cant get my head round half of that present being someone elses ticket!

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Okay POS. So, if you buy her these tickets for 'Christmas' (bearing in mind she knows all about it). When Christmas day comes along, do you think she'll be happy with it??

Could wrap up the booking e-mail in the worlds largest box, because I don't think the actual tickets would be out by then...boltonboris wrote:Okay POS. Re: Today I'm angry about.....
feck knows.. But my missus is jumping on the Steps bandwagon now too.. She wants to go with a pal of hers (no problem, it's her money & I'd probably be glad of the nights peace) but it makes me laugh how they've always been a shit, laughing stock and now every girl over the age of 20 wants to feckin' watch 'em live?? for 40 sheets a pop no-less!! What's changed???

Obviously being a man of great romance and mystery Id also shower her with surprise presents as well, like this bag she keeps asking for, or this dress she's told me about a thousand timesboltonboris wrote:Okay POS. Travel fxck-ups. Wife's gone over to see the lad in California and he booked her ticket. We got all the info via pc and printed off the itinerary etc. Booked herself in, chose her seat via the net yesterday and all sorted. All she had to do was go straight to the baggage drop. When she got there the attendant asked her for her "Esca" (sp)?. Apparently because the lad booked she didn't have this whatever. "Sorry madam, without it they won't let you into the States". Wife in panic, what do I do? Oh,you'll have to go downstairs and find a computer and get your details up and get this "Esca" number". Wife not the world's most experienced comp user eventually found somebody (cafe lady or somebody) to help her and got it sorted. Big splutter because she had to fly Manchester to Heathrow first. They then charged her 13$ for use of the computer.
Just sounding off because she was so upset. Now it's Flight Track for me and I'll calm down when I know she's safely there.
