Absolutely buzzing. 5k race tonight and I broke 21 minutes for the first time ever. 20.58 (unofficial). Awaiting confirmation but my previous best on this course was 21.50 last month. Fingers crossed the official score is the same.

I got there a little early expecting to have to park and walk down Long Lane, and guess what? The car park was fully open!

Glad I'd put a skin on as the wind was absolutely bracing. Finished way below my average again (my fault for being slovenly) so having a hard training week this week, most of which will be done in the gym. Micrporous nip tape at the ready

I only woke up at 8.45am. Its been a long and hectic couple of weeks and had nowt to do with the weather. Honest!!

I went out later (in the rain) and got in a second run of the week.
