Massive protest outside the RCJ today (bigger than the Article 50 case) for Marine A. Taxi drivers giving it full welly and not at all living up to stereotypes.

Didn't realise so many of them were such keen advocates for mental health, like.

Thanks a bucket-full chaps. Mrs Duj will be sitting down to read that lot shortly. Apparently they have already booked the night-zoo expedition. :)

A generation gap in attitudes towards cooking and eating is helping to fuel the UK’s food waste mountain, research reveals, driven by time-poor millennials who do not understand the value of the food on their plate.
In contrast to savvy older consumers familiar with post-war rationing, the study suggests, those aged 18 to 34 are preoccupied by the visual presentation of food to photograph and share on social media while failing to plan meals, buying too much and then throwing it away.

And there's me thinking it was only Facebook, selfies and safe spaces to blame.

Young people with disposable incomes buy and eat nice food shocker, but have less time to cook that those who are retired.....

I'm really not sure any of this is either a new thing or in any way a shock.

Why are you meddling in foreign affairs that are none of your business?

If only you made as big a fuss about domestic issues, we wouldn't have so many problems. :D
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Don't know whether to laugh or cry.

"Sacked tennis commentator Doug Adler is to sue broadcaster ESPN, claiming he compared Venus Williams' tactics to a "guerilla", rather than a "gorilla"."

Beware this little shit. He is the real life Damien Thorne. Facebook is at the vanguard of all that is, and will remain, toxic about the internet.

Definition of the day. "Decorating" = something some other fcuker does.

I thought "muscle memory" mighta kicked in, but it would appear I have neither.

This is gonna hurt in the morning,

I take my hat off to painters and decorators. How anybody motivates themself to get out of bed to go and do that all day is beyond the limit of my comprehension.

You have my vote and total support, gentlemen.
House, fence, pergola, rooms and in particular, ceilings - the painting thereof - is the most boring, tedious and mind-bending task ever invented to torture the body and soul of man.

CAMPAIGNERS took to the steps of Bolton Town Hall this evening to protest Donald Trump’s state visit to the UK.
The demonstrators joined a nationwide day of action, as MPs debated a petition signed by more than 1.85 million people calling for the visit to be stripped of the trappings of a state occasion in order to avoid causing “embarrassment” to the Queen.
The event, which was attended by around 20 people, was organised by the Bolton Stands Up to Racism group and also called on the government to protect the rights of EU migrants living in the UK after Brexit, as well as UK residents living in EU countries.
