What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Drive is OK, nothing more - more style over substance and the violence is really over the top.

I expected a film about stylish driving, not one about a bit of driving and then loads of stylised violence.

Oh and my recommendation of the week - Kill List.

Couldn't care less. Ace film.

Rather stick pins in my eyes than watch a rich man's plaything.

Watched a Chilean movie called Manchuca - amazingly, it has subtitles...

A teenage friendship across class divisions, ended when the Pinochet coup destroys Chilean democracy in 1973 (?)... Good-hearted, well-intentioned, cinematically a bit of a mess... 2 stars at best... shame, I really wanted to like it...

People keep going on about how awesome Breaking Bad is.

Might have to source it.

Brilliant stuff.
Detail? Not 'demanding' it - just interested. what was its take on the education of the future officers?
Balanced, deals with some pretty heavy questions. The second episode focused on how people deal with the morality of killing, and whether recruits can handle. Some pretty emotional scenes juxtaposed with some almost Full Metal Jackety training methods, but also with contributions from the trainers saying that it has to be done etc...

to be fair i can't really do it justice. Doesn't give an opinion, just presents the facts and the feelings of the recruits and trainers, like all good programmes of this ilk should.

I thought the whole Paris thing was stupid.

The Office USA series 8 started with a bit of a whimper too. Not the same without Michael Scott, sadly.

Who does it? The track on the trailer sounds familiar.

Does anyone else watch Outnumbered? It's the only thing I've ever enjoyed that has Hugh Dennis in it.

I've only just realised that the current series is the 4th one. Worth going back to the beginning? :conf:

Definitely Bruce. I have series three on DVD you could (somehow) borrow.

Piss funny. I'm not sure about now, as they get older, but a lot of the earlier stuff the kids do is improv. Genius moments.
