Why would we want "rid of Scotland"? Why?

I don't understand it. At what point does it not become tribal?

i think you have this the wrong way round... the scots want rid of US - not the other way around - it is the SCOTS who are voting on this - not us...
I know. I don't understand it from EITHER side.
You're sitting on the border fence on this one.

There shouldn't be any borders. They're all arbitrary.

Scotland should stay and the balance between the South East of the UK and the rest of the country redressed to stop London getting everything and everyone else being left with the scraps.

Thats what SHOULD happen.

I agree so far. Maybe we could start a political party.

Well I can't stand the lot of you. So I'm declaring my house an independant country. First action is to annex all the local pubs.

The jocks are sick of being run by people from 'that London', or at least that's what Rupert's mate AS is telling them.

When do we get out North West parliament then? They can't afford to do owt up here but will happily throw more millions at any transport 'project' in the smoke.

Rebuild the wall and let the fúckers drink themselves to death :pissed:

i think it's more of an attitude - if they choose to go, feck 'em... which is subtly different...

At the end of the day the Scots would be nothing less than retarded to try to break away from us, doing so would stop masses of government funding and would mean Scotland would go down the shitt*r big time, Scotland will be a 2nd world country soon just like Ireland and the scots will live to regret it when unemployment reaches 50% and everywhere begins to look like a mixture between east Glasgow and Stirling.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

What is this notion of "want them to go?".

If they want their own separate identity, let 'em have it.

Bugger all to do with me.

As long as the day the Scots leave we turn off the money taps and they are forced to join the Euro then I hope for a massive yes from them!
Nothing really against them but FFS the idiots have been saying the English have been robbing them for a couple of hundred years, bollox, they'd be a third world country but for English money and jobs we gave them.
The other thing is who'd trust a Salmon and a Sturgeon? sounds very fishy to me.

It is truth, Scotland have lived off us since most of the oil was used up off the coast of Aberdeen. We in this country pay a lot more taxes per a person to fund the larger % of people in Scotland who are unemployed compared to England. That is just common sense. Also if Scotland is all that why are there so many of them down here with jobs, why are so many parts of Scotland nearly empty. People in Scotland have a shorter life expectancy and perform worse at school then in England. So personally if they want to f**k off then please do. Personally I think we should encourage it as they take more out of the system then they ever can put in.

Just like the North of England, Tory government after Tory government raped and pillage Scotland and its resources, destroyed its industry and left its people to rot whilst the cockney wide boys in the financial district in London got richer and richer.

I think like us, they have every right to be annoyed!
