What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Not tonight, but Monday night, and with great gratitude to whoever posted it, I watched the glorious full game from Sunday, commented on by no lesser man than Andy Walker, who is, in fact this man:

I kept thinking he was going to get all sweary!
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

Late afternoon, home early, I watched The Colour of Paradise, an Iranian film (subtitled) - 86 rather slow and beautiful minutes well spent.

It's the story of Mohammad, a blind twelve year old, whose mother is dead, and whose father is finding it almost impossible to cope. From this premise you can sense it isn't a comedy. It is very moving and, at the end, life-affirming. The journey to get to this is emotionally wrenching. I was rivetted. most LF critics give it a good reception (it averages 3.5 'stars'), but some hate it - 1 'star' or none and some adore - the full five.

I'm a four star critic on this... Avoid like poison if action movies are your thing...
