Woody's loneliness was the best thing for me, despite being surrounded by a caring boss, loving parents and doting new bird, he is so completely isolated, his soul was screaming inside - incredible acting.

I agree - but best in Toy Story 1, I think...General Mannerheim wrote:Woody's loneliness was the best thing for me, despite being surrounded by a caring boss, loving parents and doting new bird, he is so completely isolated, his soul was screaming inside - incredible acting.

Yeah definately, he looks absolutely trapped - and the way she's so well in with his family, seemingly more close to his mum and dad than even he is. Horrible feeling!

I heard millado that plays Woody being interviewed by Richard Bacon some weeks ago. When asked where he's from he replied "Rivington, it's near Horwich".

Milado is Joe Gilgun, is in Misfits, was in Corrie as a kid and grew up about 10 doors down from me. S'dad still lives there. Guy I worked next to at Baxi is really good mates with him too. Heath Charnock's finest and....I've never met the cnut. Got ADHD, which makes sense post, and apparently a really nice guy. Youtube 'Chorley- where people go to fight' really good series of ten minute jobbies of him and others dicking around Chorley and Astley park having a laugh.

That was insane! Like Mr Bean meets Ocean's Eleven, but good. And insane.Lord Kangana wrote:In my experience you either like it or you're a f*cking weirdo.Prufrock wrote:Watched Clerks for the first time in about 8 years last night. I loved that film first time I saw it. I feel old.
Micmacs tonight. No pressure LK.
Not what I was expecting, but I done enjoyed it.
EDIT: Also slightly hate myself for wanting to criticise the scene where the man with a bullet in his head gets picked up by a giant magnet....

Masterchef is great - dramatic stuff you don't have to care about and sheer astonishment at the imagination going on by the chefs...
I wanted Claire to win myself, for her creativity... But you can't win em all (or hardly any, ffs, if you support BW).

ANY of the three finalists would have walked the win in previous years.William the White wrote:Masterchef is great - dramatic stuff you don't have to care about and sheer astonishment at the imagination going on by the chefs...

Very unfortunate for them that they were all against each other.
Like you I was rooting for Claire as he age, and brilliant invention alongside supreme control and calmness were an unbelievable combination.
In finals they tend to go for the chefs that do sommat classic with a slight twist as Ash did with his Basque influenced fine dining style. He was excellent, but I still had him in 3rd place simply because the flavours he used were more classic and no doubt fantastic, but as a viewer slightly less exciting.
It truly is a good show, though I'm not sure how the future of it will be having had these 3 in the final together in one year....

Businesswoman of the year.
Re: What are you watching tonight?
can I also recommend "Homes under the Hammer" and "Heir Hunters" if they are still on... (both suitably mind-numbing and essential morning viewing for the work-shy!)Bruce Rioja wrote:The Jeremy Kyle show, then off out to buy scratchcards.
