Congrats to Gran :D Mine (hopefully) achieves the same number in less than 12 months.

Jeez. You manage to bat through a couple of World Wars and make it all the way to 100, and all you get to show for it is a check from DWP that no bugger's conning them out benefits and a telegram from Iain Duncan-Smith?????

Get Brenda on the case! Congrats to LGM's gran.

Oh, that's what I was worried about. Carry on, Gran.

^ I was watching a pair of old farts mature riders on Staffordshire Services last Thursday. The weather weather was quite reasonable but they had so many layers of wollies and waterproofs on you'd have thunk they were going to the Arctic on a bad day.

Is it a real pilgrimage? In the sense of visiting holy places?

I am visiting many of the most famous sites of Christian Pilgrimage in Britain - which is (basically) a jaunt around the coastline of Great Britain (including Scotland, Ireland and Wales). Whether that makes it a "real pilgrimage" might be a matter of debate! (no indulgences will be purchased and I am not looking for any miraculous healing...)

I'm a bit jealous. I have been to much of Scotland (even to Cape Wrath or as close as the car would go) but never got across to Mull and so missed Iona too.
