tip I got from a lad I play football with who has run a couple of marathons before...

Elastic shoelaces are great for getting on and off easily. As for the feet-swelling thing? I would have thought if you're doing so much ,ileage in training your feet would becom accustomed.
Do, however, keep your toenails trimmed. You don't want to lose them. And make Vaseline your friend. A liberal application on the nips, scrotum, inner thigh and between the toes will prevent any painful chafing.
