I can answer that, there must have been an equity member already called Colin Williams. There was a rule, don't know if it still exists, that stage names were unique.
Which is why James Stewart became Stewart Granger.

Won't be known by anyone here but I've just found out a mate of mine was killed in Bulgaria last week following a rockfall. He and his friend were killed instantly and another member of the party survived and raised the alarm.

Ian was a good runner and triathlete and a friend.

R.I.P. mate.

Really brings the tragedy home when it's someone you know. Used to work with a well-liked lad who hitch-hiked up to Scotland almost every week-end to climb mountains. One Monday he just never came back, got caught by the weather and was found frozen to death by the mountain rescue team. Everybody was in shock for days.

R.I.P your friend.

Not a big gambler, although I did used to have a small stakes punt fairly regularly, RIP Pat Eddery. If there was a yankee with 3 out of 4 already in, couldn't do much better than having Eddery on the last one!
