What are you eating and drinking tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Took some friends out last week at short notice and we ended up at The Walled Garden, part of the Barton Grange Hotel at Broughton, just off the m55. 3 courses for 15 quid, all of which were superb. Well worth a visit if you fancy a not too expensive mid week tea out or Sunday lunch with the parents etc.

I thought you'd had about 15 pints beforehand? You'd have given the contents of the bins outside McDonald's the thumbs up.

I'm pretty sure this is why LK is so virulently against Twitter (https://twitter.com/wewantplates" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) as it gives the lie to that nonsense that this bollocks is someone customer-driven.

Warning, may make you very angry.

To be opposed to something would be to award it some sort of merit.

Its the hang of shitferbrains. Thats my main issue with it.

An awards dinner tonight. We haven't won anything but it's bad form to tell them to 'stick it' on such grounds. One thing's for sure, the food will be absolute shite.

Bring on tomorrow - Lunch at The French. Image

On that basis, I presume that you will not be partaking of the all you can eat breakfast at the Watermillock?

Special trip to Borough market today to get some of these beuts to clod some Roquefort on. Oh my days. Hint of sweetness and aniseed with all the joys blue cheese and some burgundy type wine.

Blue cheese, sugar and Burgundy?

So ... what ARE those things ?

Unless I'm mistaking the picture, they are a type of deep fried pastry that is then sugared. The name escapes me at the moment.

As it happens, I'm not familiar with them containing aniseed (I think it might be fennel or caraway seed or somesuch) - where I tend to frequent in France they serve them as a snack, rather like churros.

Nah they're called tortas de aceite. Olive oil biscuits with a hint of aniseed. They're fecking lush with blue cheese, like almost life changing.

The fuggers at Aldi seem to have dropped the Verdejo. I'm being forced to drink their New Zealand Pinto Gris. Cost about a quid more. Bastards!
