Today I'm angry about.....

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Don't know why, they're just really smug bastards.

Michael Vaughan drives one...
Michael Vaughan was born in Lancashire, not Yorkshire. Despite what the Yorkies say, he is no more a Yorkshireman than Gary Keedy or Glen Chapple.

He should act as an inspiration to us all in these times of misery and despair. And he broke the exciting news that Wanderers are about to sign Michael Owen.

And so you should.

I will still believe it even after he's signed for someone else.

Michael Vaughan is not to be doubted.

I'm finding it hard to put my finger on why the humourless git irritates me so much - but he does... I like Agnew and Tuffnell - I can listen to them for hours on end with no irritation - but 5mins of Michael Vaughan and I am ready to rip out the radio and deposit it on the central reservation of the M25...

I suspect it is his total inability to be anything even close to self-effacing or to laugh at himself... is this a Yorkshire trait? cos I feel exactly the same about Boycott - except at least the others have got to the point where they can just take the piss out of him - they don't do that with Vaughan...
See, whenever I hear Michael Vaughan I just think - deary me, what a dreary individual you are, Sir.

Whenever I hear Boycott I just think - oh feck off you tedious, self-important, annoying, Yorkshire c*nt. I fecking hate you! Which, as I'm sure you'll agree, is actually quite measured. ;)
May the bridges I burn light your way

he and Tuffnell filled a whole rain interval reminiscing about tours of south africa...

the pattern went as follows:

Tuffers would tell an amusing, often self-effacing,story

Vaughan would tell a variant of this story:

"ahhh - those were the days - not like today - it wouldn't happen now - I remember when me and Thorpey went to the bar and we must have had two pints each - and it was quite late - and then we walked back to the hotel - ahh - it was such a laugh - those were the days when you could enjoy the places you visited and see a bit of the country...

... and the next day I scored a ton!"

repeat for HOURS,,,,,,,

Today, I'm angry at myself. Having bought a rather expensive suit for work, I found that this morning, I could only fasten the waist button with some difficulty. After a weekend away, i seem to have piled on the pounds. The gym and salads are calling me.

I'd had my fill of 6-music (the hip-hop show had come on!) - R5 had a load of wank about the olympics - R4 was "any questions" and it included 2 people who were guaranteed to wind me up - and R2 - well it was R2 FFS!!!

plus - they kept saying the covers were coming off and it had brightened up - thus offering the promise that the cricket would be back on soon!!

Content yourself with the thought that they are halfwitted enough to have paid a f*cking fortune for something that looks like it belongs in My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding.

Which, incidentally, I don't watch.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I have to say, personally, smug or not, I've never seen the attraction of the owd Chelsea tractor type motors - that extends somewhat past Range Rovers.

We have one of them 4x4s, but only for a safety point of view. The driving here is really bad and if you're driving a smaller car you get treated even worse by other drivers. It is normal for a car to go from the outside lane and go straight across 6 lanes with no indication, or even looking sometimes. They want that exit and that is it. They think twice, even if for a split second, about cutting up a bigger car. The road layouts are terrible and cause some of the behaviour. Essentially, the bigger the tank you drive here the better.

We get about 20mph out of ours, so it isn't too bad for petrol. Even so, it is only 25p a litre and government are talking about reducing that as they think it is too expensive
