My missus has left me some homemade leek and potato soup... I'm convinced the leeky strands looks like horsehair.

Though I'll be honest, I was quite worried when I got some burgers from tesco, went to the checkout, scanned them through and found that they were 7/2 joint-favourite.

Bob on, I'm afraid. Also if you've had the flu jab it's very, very unlikely.

You may well feel like shit & I symapthise but I've only had 'proper flu' once & frankly could barely move. If the house had set on fire I'd have tried to assess if it was likely to reach my room.

If I'd had that week to submit a winning ticket for a £10m lottery win or lose the option I'd have struggled to care.

Once you've had it you won't mistake it for simply feeling shit.

Unfortunately neither my doctor, the heart care nurse, nor the lab tests agree with you I'm afraid. And feeling like shit just about sums it up, along with can't breathe, aching limbs like lead weights and a headache that is throbbing on a similar wavelength to what blue whales communicate on are all telling me it's terminal. I made that last bit up :| apparently I will survive.

Well, they're tossers .... & possibly mistreating you. Sue the bastards.

If it was PROPER flu you wouldn't care about using the laptop, or reading, or responding. Not "not be able to", additionally you wouldn't care. You wouldn't care about not caring .... & that wouldn't bother you !!

I don't want to fight you over it as
a). why would I want to ?
b). I'd beat you by blowing on you
c). I could catch whatever misdiagnosed ailment you have

It does feel like Scrapie I must admit. Or anthrax. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to see if I've been insulted by BL3 on the who put the Sun in Sunderland thread, and then I'm going to lie down (prone rather than 35 degrees) for a bit... until I can no longer breathe again that is.
Ta ta for now (I might make it through the night).
