Did you cook that shit yourself? I bought some herrings recently and got home to find they were untouched by the fishmonger. I then chopped off their heads and tails and pulled their guts out and baked them but they tasted like shit and were full of bones. feck that,I'll stick to boil in the bag kippers from now on.Bruce Rioja wrote:Herrings and potatoes with a mango curry and Mariestads beer. 4ucking A

No, I was in a Gothenburg restaurant. They, unlike you clearly, know how to serve the boneless flesh of "that shit".LeverEnd wrote:Did you cook that shit yourself? On midsummer day, the Swedes eat herring with boiled potatoes and parsley sauce, all washed down with schnaps. Swedish schnaps is the only alcoholic drink that I always refuse. Absolutely fecking bowfin'.

I was rather hoping it was a pipette of cyanide to help relieve the sheer meaningless of existence....

Proper posh brunch buffet at a hotel in Abu Dhabi. Never
seen anything like it. They don't do things by halves over here.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

They don't usually start until 12/1pm and are mainly an excuse to get absolutely hammered whilst stuffing buffet food down yer neck. You can pay £120/£140 per person for some of them.bobo the clown wrote:How was the bacon ?LeverEnd wrote:Proper posh brunch buffet at a hotel in Abu Dhabi. Never

Been to one once and that was enough for me. Pissed up wankers acting like they're someone important.
