Oh dear. First Gordon saving the world, now Cameron doing God's work.
Re: The Politics Thread
Why does he keep saying weird stuff?! Are they having a bet to see what they can get away with?

Also, am I the only person who thinks Michael Gove looks like he should be walking round with a Tommy gun?

I like when rich people claim to be doing Jesus' work, conveniently forgetting he was basically a communist and said to get rid of all material possessions.

Hope they have a camera on hand the first time he tries the five loaves and two fishes one, or changing all the perrier water into wine during a house session. Walking across the Thames has been done already by Dynamo, but he could get a lifetime appointment if he managed to raise Winston Churchill back from the dead.....Beefheart wrote:I like when rich people claim to be doing Jesus' work, conveniently forgetting he was basically a communist and said to get rid of all material possessions.

gordon brown was calling someone a bigot on the sly, and she found out and and still voted for him, and he was a journalist at one point . so i dont think cameron will be that arsed if a few humanist sorts that wont vote for him anyway cluck at one another over it.Prufrock wrote:Why does he keep saying weird stuff?! others wont know what he's on about , maybe wonder slightly if theyve remembered that bit of the bible wrong , not be arsed panicking over it and shrug their shoulders .
the election's not for ages, it must be what sport is like for people that can't run.
Re: The Politics Thread
Just noticed my tax & NI has nudged up £7 this month, student loan repayments gone down by £4. Takehome £3 down.
Good job I buy a few hundred pints a month and play bingo![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
Seriously though, £107.5bn the Government borrowed in 13-14... doing our bit and that. You're welcome George!

Re: The Politics Thread
Tax & NI down £14.
Student loan? Down £70. HR have knocked it off completely. They've cocked loads of stuff up for the start of this year apparently. Going to leave it until next month and hope against all prior evidence that they fix it. Otherwise, that's going to be a pain in the arse.
Student loan should be down by about a fiver though I think (according to my somewhat sus maths), leaving me £19pm better off. Cost of what crisis?
