he was interviewed on R5 this morning - Huhne - trying to pass off his refusal to plead guilty as some kind of noble moral crusade against Briscoe...mummywhycantieatcrayons wrote:http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfre ... e-decption

at one point he actually said "i always admitted my guilt" before then saying - the reason I didn't plead guilty initially was that I was fighting the idea of fabricated evidence against me...
he should just shut up - every time he speaks he sounds like a dick...
what on earth Briscoe was up to - who knows!! mad!!
Re: The Politics Thread
Given we all seem to have our opinions on the E.U referendum, would it be possible to make a separate thread or will I be tried for starting a politics related thread outside of our now very long politics thread?
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

Briscoe believes she should be a public figure - simple as that. Her mum was right about her.thebish wrote:he was interviewed on R5 this morning - Huhne - trying to pass off his refusal to plead guilty as some kind of noble moral crusade against Briscoe...mummywhycantieatcrayons wrote:http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfre ... e-decption

Everyone associated with this story is terrifying.

Safety in numbers, it seems, is his defence. Loads of people do it your honour, so it can't be that bad.
Or something.

Leader in the Times = Ukraine appears to be heading for civil war: Russia must stop its campaign of subversion and coercion and accept the outcome of democratic elections.
What feckin dickhead, with absolutely no knowledge of recent history, apparently, could have written that FFS! I've one word for you, Yanukovich. (utter tit - the Times leader writer, even if Yanukovich might have been).

I do wonder what kind of person would dream that up and think 'yeah, that's the way to go'.

ma, that was a bit sh*t. I don't know whether it's worth voting, inevitably it will come down to which party leader I dislike the most I.E who is going to do me the least damage to myself and the people of Britain. Any ideas.KeyserSoze wrote:

yeah - vote labour.
Re: The Politics Thread
In my short span of being politically aware(say since I was 13) 1 party has caused the biggest most awful financial disaster this country has ever had, another party has done its very best to starve the working class's while a 3rd who pretend to be central suddenly jump ship and join the tory toffs. Now we are left with a party both racist and upper class and all the while I ask myself what's the point. I will probably just end up for voting for the person who's name if first in alphabetical order like I did in the local elections.
