What are you watching tonight?

I've only seen the first half of Heat and been meaning to watch the rest for a long time, finally picked up a blu ray copy of it today so going to finish it off soon. I loved the first half so I don't think I'll be disappointed with the rest.

Have Al Pacino and De Niro ever made a bad film together? I can't recall one.

That's cos they haven't been in many together. I thought Heat was crap tbh.

They've been in three, Godfather II, Heat and Rightous Kill. Even though I thought there was more, I still stand by my statement.

Well the's 1 good, 1 bad and 1 I haven't a fooking clue as I've never heard of it. So your statement's a load o' bollox.

I said they haven't made a bad film together. Not every film they've made is amazing. Granted I've only seen half of Heat but I can't see it being a bad film. Rightous Kill is also a good film.

Righteous Kill is a terrible film. I'm a huge fan of De Niro and Pacino but I think they were cashing in with that one. No where near The Godfather Pt. II or Heat.

Individually, Scent of a Woman for Pacino and Ronin for De Niro were ace films.

I was writing what I thought about Scent of a Woman then half way through I realised I was thinking about Sea of Love.

I honestly don't think I could call a film with De Niro and Al Pacino terrible, but it may have clouded my judgement of the film, and looking on the net there seems to be quite a few poor reviews of it. I honestly enjoyed it and didn't think the twist was predictable or poor as some claim.

I think Scarface is my favourite of the lot. I stayed in the hotel where the shower scene was filmed when I was in Miami. Taxi Driver a close second.

Raging Bull is far and away my De Niro favourite,

And Scent of a Woman for Pacino, who is a bit over-rated imo, but outstanding in that.
