If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Brilliant. This from you?! :lmfao:
if you say so...

Personally I think picking on grammar/spelling on a forum is lame. (unless, of course, it is to highlight the beam in the eye of someone who is busy pointing out someone else's mote... which is where I get my jollies.)

Anyway - I stick by my assertion (which I see you don't dispute) that most of what Dan writes is perfectly understandable, and so passes Dujon's test.
If you say so. So tell me, tell us all in fact, other than for that that you mention above, under what other circumstances is it acceptable to pick on someone on an internet forum? After all, you do enough of it.

And no, plenty of what Dan says isn't understandable, not at least without a plentiful measure of effort - and the burden lies with the poster, not the reader.

You don't need my approval to pick on a schoolboy for his spelling and grammar. If it floats your boat - carry on! enjoy!

I haven't. I advised him that it won't help him when applying for jobs. That's helping someone. If you see it as picking on a schoolboy then hey, whatever floats your boat. Knock yourself out.

I think it, like most things is personal. Some of you understand what I am trying to say better than others. I think as a percentage at least 80% of what I write can be understood without to much fuss, but I will admit that some of what I write is bladeyblu, such as the word in bold.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

I assure you, Dan, that my remarks about your writing style were an attempt to explain Bruce's remarks which you found puzzling. The subject was getting a job, not posting on a forum. It was an attempt to be helpful, not as some suggest picking on a schoolboy. Dujon's comments were clearly well intentioned too. As for bladeyblu I haven't the faintest idea what word you were trying for - it looks like the sort of word only Bobo would understand.

PS - I meant it looked Welsh, Bobo.
PPS Dan, why do you always mess up quotes so that it looks all wrong and says you are saying what Bruce said etc.?

Not quite - you also delete some text and in doing so delete a square bracket or two which messes up the format.

the pigging bastarding gale force wind has actually blown my bike right over for the second time in a week. it's blowing a gale and lashing it down and dark - hands are slippy - and those bastarding pigging bikes are bastarding heavy. first attempt - got the bike half up - foot slipped on wet gravel - bastarding pigging bike crashes down on top of me crushing my leg and two of my fingers and handlebar smacking me just below the eye... have got it up now and wheeled it into garage (having had to make room first) - and noticed that the bastarding pigging new RH mirror that I only put on 3 weeks ago is now cracked in two places...
