I have no urge to go seen the Bond film. Haven't seen any of the Daniel Craig ones now that I think of it. Did see a poster for a new film with Philip Seymour Hoffman in that I might go see though.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
Just watched Harry and Paul. Good God! The most awful half hour of comedy it has ever,ever, been my displeasure to watch. And I made myself (and lad) watch it all just to make sure it was really as bad as we were thinking it was. And it was.

It was recorded from Sunday night, I think. Yep, a boxset wanker scene included. I love Harry Enfield too, and Paul Whitehouse, but not in this form. For eg (although from a different episode);

Me too. Missed the first 5 minutes, though so it took me a while to catch up with the 'plot'
Liked the actress who played Alison. She reminds me of someone else.
Laura Haddock
Heather Graham

Correct. She was also in the new 'comedy' called Cuckoo with Greg Davies and Helen Baxendale.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

So not his stand-up then? OK. And I really need to see this Room 101 to be convinced. He's absolutely brilliant as that teacher on Inbetweeners, but the bits of his stand-up that I've seen have left me feeling embarrassed for him.bobo the clown wrote:He was on the Room 101 panel I saw filmed & he really is very funny.Bruce Rioja wrote:You're joshin' right?hi there, i'm chris wrote:Greg Davies is fantastic. There's a bloke on a cookery programme on BBC1 that's just 'accomplished' the following. Fried some mushrooms, chucked in some cheese, transferred it onto some toast.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
The filming took the best part of 3 hours, whilst the edited show will probably be about 25 of proper tv, so much of his best bit's will be missing. Very quite & very funny with a good direct approach to the studio audience.Bruce Rioja wrote:So not his stand-up then? OK. And I really need to see this Room 101 to be convinced.
