I heard rumours of a bid but nothing official. Has it been confirmed?

I like Stevie Warnock, but I don't think he's going to cut it at Liverpool. His final ball into the box isn't good enough, quite simply. You might find that he gets pushed on to left midfield quite a bit - for me, that's his best position. He works hard and never, ever shirks a tackle, but he is very injury prone and speaking of prone, his positional sense will ask for trouble sometimes.

I wish him well if he leaves, and I would like him to be successful, and I think he would do a great job for you, but I don't think he's going to be anything other than ordinary.

I like Warnock. He is a typical Scouse defender. Very good defensively but offers little else. Also likes a challenge - he has broken his leg twice. At Wigan, under Jewell I can see him developing very well, but you have Baines at LB don't you?

It's not 77,78,81,84, 05's fault as he doesn't use the site often but it's still funny.

A limited defender, will probably stand out in the Championship, but will never look like the business in the Premiership to be honest. He's a committed, honest, hard as nails defender who'll run and run all day for you, and go into a 10/90 challenge and win it, but he's not got what it takes to make it at the very highest level.

Better than a Mr Wright that you brought up there a few years ago, and he was ok.

All good news then!

Wrighty was mint when he first joined us, but then we found out he has Keiran Dyer syndrome (as in, he's made of glass!)

I always had a great deal of time for Stephen Wright, and have more so for Ste Warnock. He'll make a very good Championship player, and should you come up then he's got some decent experience for you in the Prem too. He'd run through brick walls, and that's the sort of player that every team should have a couple of...
