Nugent's Goal>>>>>>>Rooney's

Simple as that. Nugent's goal was miles better.

I can't find a vid of Nugent's goal but he picked it up in his own half, dribbled through the entire Palace midfield and defence and finished superbly. Probably put another £2m on his fee.

I'd love to see Nugent's goal if anyone can find it. As for the granny shagger, he maybe one of the most overrated players of all time, but fair play, it was a superb goal!

I saw both Rooneys goal and Nugents goal on MOTD.

For Rooneys goal they were comparing Rooneys chip to Cantona"s and saying that Rooney is just like Cantona.

Nugents goal was absolute class, How he took on all them players and then managed to place it perfectly in the net (Superb).

If i had to decide which one was the best out of the two, Then i proberly couldnt,
They were both class goals.

Both excellent goals, but the best goal that I've seen from yesterday was Plymouth's second. The boy has twice as far to run as Nugent, and just as he's about to strike gets assaulted by the defender, yet still keeps his composure and picks out the far side of the net. Can't remember the boy's name, but he's on loan to them from Chelsea!

Rooney's goal was good and credit to him; but if it had been a foot higher and gone over the bar, as dozens do each weekend, it would have passed without much comment. Nugent's by a long chalk for me; he had it all to do on his own.

Err yes, but the very point is that it didn't go a foot over the bar, did it?! That's like saying that if the full back had tackled Nugent then he wouldn't have got his shot away. The fact remains that they were both very good goals on account of what actually happened.

Plymouth's goal was the best, very closely followed by Nugent's (Kevin Nugent as Jamie Redknapp called him)

nugents and rooneys were both awesome as well

shame this kid is on loan from dirty chelsea, will end up rotting away in the reserves and on the bench. career over.

I'd go for Nugent's in 1st, as his took the most skill; apart from the strength at the end, Sinclair's is more about raw pace. For me, Rooney's goal splits them.
