I was gutted. My Father,(R.I.P) would have been delighted. He was a Mayo man.

I said months ago on here that, having seen him play against our uni team, Farrell didn't look like a world class Union player, and I still think that's the case. Having said that, the way he has been singled out for criticism is unfair - we looked ragged and ill-disciplined all over the place.

Yeah I heard Will Carling singling him out as being too slow. Is that fair? I don't know much about Rugby.

Well, he's a massive man and I think he's a bit cumbersome to play in the centres. But highlighting a lack of potency in your backs when you've just had 43 points put on you seems to miss the point somewhat.

Finding him a position was always going to be the problem, especially at international level.
