Nice piccies, Batman. Nice to see you've chosen Sydney even though you've travelled the world.

You managed to fit a lot into those, particularly The Bridge with ferries outbound from and inbound to Circular Quay, yacht, Luna Park (well, its Ferris Wheel) and even a couple of groups of bridge climbers who shelled out a small fortune for the privilege of testing their fitness.

I don't know whether you still can, but in days of yore you could walk up the south east pylon (that's the one on the left that you can see in its entirety) and take in the view from the top. Don't ask me why, but there was a family of white cats that lived there. There was probably some significance to that but, if so, it now escapes me.

Trivia: Paul Hogan - he of Crocodile Dundee fame - used to work as a rigger on the 'coathanger'.

I like the way you've caught the midday sun on the opera house. The shadows and highlights give a better idea of the curvature of the roof sections than most photographs one sees of the structure. You can't avoid the other tourist though can you? Still it gives a decent sense of scale.

When were the images captured? From the length of the shadows I'm guessing early or late winter (i.e. June or August).
