I had it recommended by Richard & Judy.CrazyHorse wrote:I had it recommended too.
Got the first set of episodes on the old sky+, but not watched them yet. Supposed to be ok by all accounts.
Not got Sky+ and don't have SciFi.
Anyone else had it recommended but not seen it yet?

It's one of the better shows to come out of America. It has its moments and its certainly not without flaws but its definitely worth a watch just to see what all the fuss is about.
Episodes are done by the way of chapters and each chapter has about 3-4 stories covered with plot points being progressed each time. Stories focus on people finding out about their powers and how they come to grips with them.

I watched one episode and it was extremely wierd!!!
It has a Janenese guy who can transport himself anywere in the world like a guy can in a comic he reads and a woman who see's herself as someone else in the mirror. Oh and she mutilates men in her sleep!
I think it's all about a disaster that is about to happen and how they are all involved.
I haven't seen it since.

The japanese guy time travels apparently and you're right the major plot points are that there is a disaster coming up and they have to prevent it (first its save the cheerleader, save the world).Soldier_Of_The_White_Army wrote:It has a Janenese guy who can transport himself anywere in the world like a guy can in a comic he reads and a woman who see's herself as someone else in the mirror. The wife and I have watch all 18 Espisodes so far (got them via Bit Torrent) and are really enjoying it. It does start off a little slow but by about the 4th episode it hooks you in.
We were watching 2 or 3 episdoes a night until we caught up with the Americans who are weeks ahead of the UK.
I can't recommend it enough.
We are also well into Jericho, but think Heroes is better.

If you treat me to an all singing, all dancing DVD recorder I'l happily burn my episodes to a disc for you...Bench wrote:HEROES UPDATE
Virgin Media have just upgraded our TV package (following the loss of Sky One et al), which means we now have Sci Fi...but it means I'm about 4-5 episodes behind already.....
May as well wait for the DVD.....
