A good idea in my opinion. It would help England in that if they could get on a run of form :shock: , it would ease qualification for tournaments. If they could timetable this to match African nations - it would be a great boost (for Bolton :wink: )

It would take ages for FIFA to approve it though, if at all.

Wouldn't every other qualifying country have to follow suit? And what about those countries whose seasons overlap with this, surely they would be disadvantaged too?
