... on the awful, awful, over-produced & trite programme presented by Gabby Logan this week.
In it he explained, with a straight face & entirely lucidly, that his contract extention talks were now stalled as he was seeking a £120k a week, 'with parity' contract of 9 years with an assurance that he'd be offered the manager's job when he ceased playing.
Somehow the Chelsea management seem to think this was a bit more than they wished to offer.
Well, come on ... the boy has family to consider !!

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
