Charlton v Spurs

Post by Mich Caine » Mon May 07, 2007 5:03 pm

I am really looking forward to this game tonight, am I the only one?

Charlton look doomed, but, if they do win their last two matches I think they are certs to stay up, it should be a really great game as both teams have to win!

I will be quite gutted if Charlton get relegated, they remind me a lot of Bolton, nice small club who had a long serving manager like ourselves, but once Curbishley left it all went pear shaped, I hope the same won't happen to us.

I have a bad feeling they will be relegated tonight with a narrow defeat, but it would be fantastic if they win tonight. I would love it if Spurs fail to make Europe.

I think Charlton will nick this one by one-goal. Wigan looked doomed, but for either wham or Charlton to stay up would be a fantastic achievement.

Clearly I want Charlton to though. They did it legally like

Come on you Spurs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Surely you want a North West club to stay up at the expense of a bunch of cheating Cockney W@nkers.
Had they not signed Tevez he couldnt have scored two and set up the third last Saturday.
Not Fecking rocket science is it.
Any smaller club would have been deducted points, and gone down.

I want Wigan to survive (kiss of death then). :(

Oh dear, Charlton need 2 goals in the last 20 minutes otherwise its all over for them. Its a shame that their stay in the Premiership is coming to an end. Just shows what happens when you mess up choosing the next manager!

Reckon Charlton will lose at Liverpool anyroad so it's safe to assume they'll go down anyway - hope they go all "Michael Ball" on Spurs :D

If they could just get an equaliser I'd fancy them to go on and win.

Hmmmm, Charlton down after 7 seasons in the top flight. After their 6th season their long serving manager who did so well at the club left.

Sound familiar?

Funny, I was thinking that as the game went on.

Class from Pardew though when he applauded the second goal.

I've taken a lot of stick lately for my views, but surely the stupidest post of the season?
